Ferrari F138

Ferrari F138
Ferrari have unveiled their new Formula 1 car admitting that they have to change their recent trend and perform from the start of the season.

"There are some very positive aspects of the new Ferrari - and some that I'm not quite as excited about.

"The rear-end treatment, from the back of the engine, looks like a positive step forward.

"I was very critical of their car in that area last year - it was messy, with radiator outlets disrupting the airflow.

"It's much cleaner this year, with a much more aggressive treatment of the 'coke-bottle' area where the bodywork sweeps in between the rear wheels, an area they neglected in 2012. And it looks as if they have a very small gearbox, because the bodywork at the back is very low.

"That's all good for keeping the airflow as effective as possible in a crucial area and it looks like a big step forward.

"Forward of that, I'm less sure. The coke-bottle starts early, which is a very aggressive pursuit of downforce, but can lead to problems. I might have stayed clear of that and I think Ferrari might be the only team doing that.

"I looked at the new McLaren and saw a lot of positive points. The list of obvious gains is smaller on the Ferrari but we'll have to see how it goes on the track."

Ferrari F138's Main New Features:

Ferrari F138
 Top view
The rear of the car is more compact than the F2012. The exhausts do not reach the floor, as with the Red Bull, and are similar to the ones introduced by McLaren on the MP4-28.
Ferrari F138
Front view
This view shows the larger space under the nose and the massive keel underneath which distributes air via the sides of the car to the rear end. The F138 looks much more attractive without the step.

Perspective
The front of the car has a much more classic look. The rear exhaust area and the gearbox look more refined and elaborate than the previous model. The goal is better aerodynamics.

2011 Ferrari 458 Challenge

The Ferrari 458 Challenge race car introduced back in July, and the vehicle has made it public debut at the Bologna Motor Show (Italy). The vehicle’s 4499 cc V8 unit has remained untouched, offering the same power rating of 570 hp at 9,000 rpm. The dual-clutch F1 gearbox has been tweaked to deliver higher torque at lower revs. In addition to that, the racer uses the street version’s F1-Trac traction control system, which works together with the E-Diff to keep the car on track. The adoption of the traction control system is a first for a Ferrari track car.

It uses thicker body panels and comes with weight-reducing materials such as carbon fiber and Lexan. The Ferrari 458 Challenge race car features a tweaked suspension that comes with steel uniball joints, stiffer springs, single-rate alloy dampers, bringing the car 50 mm closer to the track. The stopping power is provided by a Brembo CCM2 carbon-ceramic system, while the connection to the road is established through a set of centre-nut 19-inch forged rims, which use wide Pirelli slick tires.

Ferrari California
For a singular coincidence in time or just lucky I'm so happy for each wheel of the Ferrari is on sale. It 's rare for journalists, and it is my honor that I can do is not easy. Tour of California today identified for special occasions, because not only Ferrari but not hunting, but also completely new model Ferrari.

The sky was blue Bugatti and winding mountain roads of Sicily, to join a brave man and just give the key to a new red Ferrari. Uma Thurman when he came with a bottle of Krug champagne and pot of Stilton for two people, the possibility of a better life.

But look, now goes down. Ferrari, we try not beautiful, the gruff side, thick hips and bum action elongated stem on Bikini Bottom. E 'disappointing but not surprising. The days when Ferrari beautiful images of street poetry in motion, Rembrandt in the street have disappeared.

Designing a beautiful Italian car, you better take advantage of the Maserati and Alfa Romeo.
