The three-door version requires only 3.5 liters diesel per 100 km and so emits just 94 g/km CO2. A new Opel Corsa ecoFLEX, 1.3 CDTI developing 70 kW/ 95 hp also enters the range, with Start/Stop technology as standard. A redesigned face lends it a sportier, expressive look, making it firmly recognizable as a member of the latest Opel design family. As of January 2011, Opel's successful small car now gets a new wardrobe. There's always something happening in the Opel Corsa: Everything changed under its skin in 2010 - its chassis, its steering system and engine line-up.

In addition, the successful Color Line featuring special, sporty looking versions are enriched with a new optional "Linea" pack, featuring two large stripes stretching across the length of the body with matching colored 17-inch wheels and exterior mirror caps. The new exterior color palette integrates a delicate off-white Guacamole, eye-catching Grasshopper green and daring Henna. In addition to a modern charcoal hue, the interior can also be dressed with more expressive Tabasco Orange or Steel Blue decors. Inside and out, new, contemporary colors and decors are offered. It is universally connectible, simple to use and has every convenience for the 21st century built in, at a very competitive price. Called "Touch & Connect," this versatile system features a five-inch color touch screen, full navigation coverage for 28 countries, Bluetooth, iPod and USB connections. To stay connected with the world, a new multimedia infotainment system with seven, 4x20 watt loudspeakers debuts in the Opel Corsa.

The Color Line Series models can be equipped with an optional "Linea" pack, featuring two large stripes stretching across the length of the body with matching colored 17-inch wheels and exterior mirror caps. For the new model year, Opel has also added a new trim level called the Color Line Series, which will be available across Europe. There's also an available new Touch & Connect navigation system featuring a commuter function that uses TMC information to propose alternative routes in case of traffic problems, even when navigation is not active. Inside, the dashboard molding sports a more textured skin while all trim levels have been updated with new fabrics and/or decors.

The five-door variant achieves 3.6 l/100 km and emits just 95 g/km CO2. Thanks to the start/stop system, the three-door version's fuel consumption in the combined cycle is reduced from 3.7 to 3.5 liters/100 km [67.2 mpg US] and the emissions from 98 to only 94 g/km CO2. A new Corsa EcoFlex 1.3 CDTI [diesel] with 95HP and standard Start/Stop technology also enters the range.

The 135 kW/184 hp version offers 34 hp more power. The 120 kW/163 hp offers 36 hp more than its predecessor model. The latest entry to the engine range is a newly-developed 2.2 CDTI Turbo diesel, which comes with two outputs. Even the two available transmissions - a six-gear manual and automatic - have undergone completely new developments to improve efficiency and dynamics. The fully re-worked engine line-up, all Euro-5 compliant, now offers improved driving performance as well as significantly reduced consumption and emissions. The most notable changes in the Opel Antara's mid-cycle enhancements, which will be introduced at the end of 2010, are in the powertrain. With improvements to its powertrain line-up, exterior styling and interior comfort, the Opel Antara can now be seen as a new competitor in the growing SUV segment. The new Opel Antara pairs sporty, off-road capabilities and urban-chic looks with high functionality and safety.
2011 Opel AntaraNaturally an active, re-worked chassis fits nicely to the new Antara, offering dynamic handling and excellent traveling comfort. The engine variants come with variable camshaft phasing for the inlet and exhaust, which optimizes the torque and performance characteristics as well as lowers fuel consumption and emissions. Like the diesel variants, this engine is available in front-wheel or all-wheel drive and comes as manual or automatic six-gear transmission. The 2.4 liter, four-cylinder version now comes with 125 kW/170 hp, or, 30 hp more power. The gasoline line-up, too, offers more power. The 184 hp also offers a choice of manual or automatic transmissions, and comes with all-wheel drive as standard. The 163 hp variant is available in front-wheel or all-wheel drive as well as with manual or automatic six-gear transmissions.

2011 Opel AntaraWith these changes, the market segment of the compact SUV has a new competitor in the ring. This includes a standard electric parking brake and the Hill Assist System. Opel has improved safety and comfort features in the Opel Antara as well. An optimized instrument graphic and effective interior lighting underscore the prestigious ambiance.

The chic, sporty SUV look comes about from a new center console with extra storage solutions, new materials and added interior and exterior colors. Modified rear lights and optional 19-inch light-metal wheels round out the robust look. The fog lights together with chrome bezels and a well-blended pedestrian protection lends the vehicle a harmonious look with a strong presence. Its new, front grill with bold logo makes it immediately recognizable as a member of the new Opel design family. On the street, the Opel Antara turns heads with its chic, upscale look.
