Peugeot is going to launch a new sedan in the market named 508 that is going to replace the current 407 and 607. The new Peugeot 508 is currently under development and will be premiered as a concept car at the next Auto Show from Paris in autumn 2010 before being officially launched as a production car at the Geneva Motor Show in 2011.
The 407 and 607 weren’t too successful in terms of sales and the PSA president, Philippe Varin, announced that both models will be integrated into the new sedan. This will return the 50X Series from the 505 sold in 1979. We don’t have any details about this car at the moment but Peugeot will probably release more information about their newest sedan as soon as it’s closer to be finished.
In the top picture we have the Peugeot RC HYmotion4 concept which was unveiled at the 2008 Paris Auto Show. We don’t know if the new Peugeot will have a design inspired from this concept, but it might be a great car to start from.
