2011 Vauxhall Antara, known as the Opel Antara for the rest of Europe, Vauxhall Antara SUV gets a fresh new look inside and out when it goes on sale next month, (December 2010) with pricing for the entry-level model starting at 3,000 GBP below than what the outgoing model costs.

Exterior modifications like a an updted front gill, new fog lights, new design 19-inch alloys and revamped rear lights, the 2011 Vauxhall Antara comes with revised engines that are now Euro 5 compliant, which means improved fuel consumption and reduced emissions.

2011 Vauxhall Antara will also be available with the new 2.2 CDTI turbodiesel engine that produces either 163 PS or 184 PS, with the 163 PS version offered as a FWD with a 6-speed manual transmission or an AWD with a 6-speed automatic. The 163PS variant is available in front-wheel drive with a six-speed manual transmission only or all-wheel drive mated to either a manual or six-speed auto gearbox. The 184 PS version 2011 Vauxhall Antara has the same transmission options, but is available with AWD as standard. All transmissions have been revised to improve efficiency.
